Snow Bunny

I went out and played in the snow Saturday. It snowed A LOT. I should also clarify. By playing in the snow I mean sitting in the snow and not moving. I am still not sure about this freezing cold fluff that falls from the sky. I mostly can't play too much because I can't move my arms in my snow suit. It's too heavy.

Let's skip this snow and go inside and enjoy some milk and puffs. My parents even let me try some. It's way too cold for me. I mean it's freezing. My little mouth could not take it. It made my two teeth feel cold. I hate this stuff.

I was able to spend a lot of time with my second cousins this week. Last Sunday I went to my great-aunt Vanessa and great-uncle Tom's (He insists I call him that) house. I was able to play and have fun and we made funny faces. On Saturday, I went to hang out with the Saleska boys. I get to see them most of the time at Jill's but this time was even more fun. We had fun counting cheerios and Luke even said he would let me stay in his bed if I needed a nap.

I am getting ready to go to Michigan for my very first CHRISTMAS. I have been learning what Christmas really means at church lately. One of my favorite parts is how much singing and dancing everyone does. Here is my head shot and audition tape for the worship band.

A right of Passghetti

There's a certain time in your life when you know you're at a new stage.  Like when you first find your feet, or when dad's hiding behind his hands for peek - a - boo you know deep down, he's not really gone forever.

I've come to a milestone that all enjoy at some point-- passghetti.

It was just a normal day I had no idea by that evening I'd be in my diaper slurping up one noodle after another.  I thought it was strange when mom put me in my height chair in nothing but my diaper and a headband but who knows maybe this is the new thing??

Then she gave me my tray covered in weird little worms with sauce on it!! I proceeded cautiously.  One bite-- ok I'm alright

Then dad brought out his camera....wait a minute. Are you two playing a trick on me?  Am I on one of those not-so-hidden camera shows??  I'll just sit her and play it cool for a while.  So much so that mom and dad won't think I like this new dinner.

Maybe I'll just play with it a little.  I like how this sauce moves around.

 Perhaps just one more taste.

I LOVE PASSGHETTI!!!

Oh yeah, and I can clap pretty good now too.

Christmas Time

We brought a tree into our home. I had no idea what my folks were thinking. I see them all the time outside and thought, "They look pretty. Out there!" But those ones don't have lights on them. I even got to help decorate the tree by putting 'dangalies' on it.

Now that it is getting SO COLD outside, I needed to upgrade my wardrobe. I now wear this super-fab snow suit when I go outside. I went to the Christmas parade in West Bend last Sunday. The best thing in the whole-wide world happened. I was sitting in Riverside Restaurant-visiting my fav, Cathy- I was able to see Santa Claus AGAIN! That's not the best part. I was sitting and bouncing up and down when he rode into town with his REAL reindeer and his sleigh STOPPED! He waved at me. For a long time. He remembered me. The worst part of the parade was having suckers thrown in my face. Suckers? At least make it puffs next time.

First snow of the year. We were playing football. Lucy moved it.

ARG!

Thanksgiving

Wow. What a day. If you told me there was an entire day of eating turkey and potatoes I would have said, " Are you outcha'  your mind?!" What a great day.

It's a good thing I had my bottom teeth come in. Just in time to eat a full plate of food. Dad sprayed whipped cream onto my hands. I did not eat it. It looked like little flowers. Dad, I am not a bunny!

My grandma, grandpa and aunt Erin came to visit for Thanksgiving.  We went for walks each day and I even went shopping. We met Dad for lunch on Friday and I got to sit in a high chair and play at the table while everyone else had soup.

Don't I look like a little stewardess in this fun shirt? Right this way to coach, sir. Since dad forgot to publish my last blog, Here it is. Double the excitement this week.

I ate so much food this weekend all I wanted to do was chill. I love this shirt my dad's cousin Katie got me. My parents say it is easier to find me in a crowd incase I get lost.

A Whole New World

WaZ Up!

As my boy Luda would say, "Stand Up!" I learned how to pull myself up this week. Mom and dad will give me their hands and I muster all the strength I have and pull myself off my back and onto my butt. It was then that I recalled one of my favorite songs from Aladdin.  The world looks so different when I am able to stand on my own two feet. I am learning on how to take baby steps. I can kick my legs out and move forward when I have mom and dad with me. When I stand too long I get scared and fall over.

It has been a week of learning fun new things. In the bath this week I had a mini catastrophe. I was playing with my fun friend, the squeaky butterfly. He then slipped from my hands after I gave him a good squeak. He can't swim and started DROWNING!.

He cried out, " Molly, for the love of God, save yourself. Don't worry about me. "

I said, "Not on my watch."

I saw squeaky butterfly was swept under the seat by the tide created by the whale faucet. I acted quickly by moving the chair with one arm. Dad was surprised. I was surprised. Where did this sudden strength come from?  It was then I saw SB. I grabbed him and he was OK.

This brings me to my next accomplishment. I learned how to clap this week. Mom and dad were doing it so much after I finished a meal that I started to do it as well. Now I control when everyone claps in the room.

Who's ready for the snow!

Have a Molly Jolly....Christmas?

Hey it's me Molly again, I wanna thank you guys for sticking with me my whole life.  Means a lot.  This past Saturday was a big deal for me...I turned 9-months-old.  Hard to believe I know.
I was going to have a low key day But then Mom brought me to Germantown and well, they threw me a parade. People lined the streets. Drummers drummed. Pipers piped.

 Secret service Auntie Heather.

Personal chauffeur Grandma.

Hype-woman Autumn.

The racing sausages and Bernie even showed up.

 I gave a speech.
"Wow.  This is so unexpected. You all put so much work into this. I can't make this about me. This is bigger than me.  Most things are.  Let's focus on something everyone loves um, the holidays? Yes, that's it.  Maybe it's a little early in the season but everyone's so festive and spirits are so high. This should be a Christmas parade instead. Merry Christmas everyone!!"

That was that.  The day was dedicated to Christmas.  Man does this guy move fast. I couldn't believe that just by the mere mention of Christmas the big man raced down all the way from the pole. I was in shock.

He was pretty down to earth for being so magical.

Turn Back for What?

I had a great week of being a princess. My dad even dressed up for Halloween and we just went about our business before going to Jill's house.

Mom took me trick-or-treating this past Monday.  I did not go out long but did visit some fun houses and saw some neat costumes.

Well, since Halloween is over I got to get ready for the next holiday and went to a "friendsgiving" with Mom on Saturday. I got to try turkey and the sweetest potatoes you will ever have in your life. Don't tell mom but I saved some under my chin for a late night snack. I stayed up late on Saturday night to hang with Finn and company. Mom and Dad let me stay up late last week because of some weird clock change. I am a girl who loves her beauty sleep so I did not dig this idea. Especially because Dad wanted to watch the "Snore Series." I don't want to stay up late to watch that. Geez. I stayed up late Saturday which was a bad idea because I had a birthday party to get ready for on Sunday morning.

We had fun at Asher's first birthday party. I got him a sweater. I hope he likes it.

Thanks to Owen and Micah for helping me sit up for this picture. I am Ok at sitting up but sometimes I just slide and plop on my face like this time when I fell down looking at leaves.

Because I am getting better at sitting up I got to ditch my stinky car seat this week and ride shotgun in the grocery cart with mom. It was SUCH a different view from first class.

Halloween

I went to my first Halloween party this past Friday at Jill's house. Some of the kids and I dressed in costume. I dressed like Princess Leia. My parents friend, Chris and his mom, made me this sweet doo when I was born. It finally fit and I think I look super fab.

"Hurry Ted.E.Bear! You're our only hope."

On Saturday we carved pumpkins. I was mortified. I was so excited when we went to pick out pumpkins  last weekend. They are so cute and then.....

Why are you cutting them open! Ahh. What horror. Look at the smile on her face. No remorse.

I did not care for much and did not want to take part in this vile act. But then...

I came around to the whole idea.

Along with trick-or-treating for the first time I also went to China.
Instead of taking a bath I took in culture.  ← ← Dad says if you click that link you can see a behind the scenes video of our life...so exclusive!

Look at how many pandas we saw! Along with fish and other cool lanterns. I have never seen so many lights in my life.

This week I got to stay up late like a big girl and watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. YOLO right?

Hey-Ride

I went on my first hay ride this weekend as mom, dad, grandma Kris and I explored a farm that grew vegetables. I have eaten pumpkin-flavored foodsies before but I had no idea that they grew from the ground. The best part was I got to sit up against the hay on the tractor by myself.
We got a personal tour from the owner of the farm, John Lamm. He was so nice. He even gave me and mom these little pumpkins. Just my size.

Grandma picked out this one because it looked like a little duck.

I had fun with grandma this weekend. So much that I did not even nap on Saturday. I stayed up to hang with her. I got kinda cranky towards the end of the day but what are you going to do.

I wanted to take this pumpkin home. It was the largest one on the farm. Mom said it would not fit in dad's car.

I was not impressed with this inferior pumpkin after seeing that bigger one.

The craziest part of this whole farm was I became Molly the train conductor. They had these handles hanging in a room with so many trains. Mr. Lamm let me pull it once and it made the sound of a choo-choo train. When mom wasn't looking I pulled it again. YOLO

By the end of the trip I wanted to start taking photos I tried taking the camera from dad.

Hey pal! if you're going to take my photo so much I need to start getting a modeling fee. Send it to my agent, Bathtime B.

I FINNNNNALLY  got to try Daddy Cakes this weekend. Dad made us all pancakes and mom cut some up for me. I was so happy that I ate them too fast. Maybe next week I can convince them to give me some of that bacon. I'll eat that.

Another cool thing was I got to try PUFFS! this weekend. Cousin Noah has been raving about these and he says to me, " Moll, You've got to try these puffs. They're aces!" So I did. The best part is they stick to your hand so you can save some for later.
I can't wait for Halloween.
