Food

I tried food for the first time. I HATED IT. My parents get great looking food all the time and what they give me is a rice mix?! I tried to like it, I really did. I just did not like it this time. I heard we are going to try it again today. In this photo I was pretending to be a silly Dracula. What do you think?

Mom did her best. She gave me some on an awesome spoon. It was Ok. I am going to keep trying this rice. My dad likes eating rice on Mondays for lunch.

I am not use to a spoon yet. I am still getting use to something that is not a bottle. I had a doctor's appointment this past week and he said I may be getting ready for some new things like this spoon and water. I had a small bottle of water for the first time. It was so hot this past week. I got to try rice and water this week. I liked the water and I am still not sold on this rice.

As I said, I had a doctor's appointment this past week. Doc said I am growing great. Everything is looking great. My parents tricked me into shots again. I couldn't give two diapers about shots. As punishment, I did not smile at them for a whole day. TAKE THAT, MEANIES!!

On Saturday, Dad taught me how to change an alternator. We finished working on mom's car Saturday morning. I went to the hardware store and hung out in front of the car. He then moved me away from the car before he started it. He was afraid it may explode and wanted to protect the future of the family. I proceeded to drool and cry as he then taught me the victory dance after it worked.

I got to celebrate my uncle's birthday when he came to visit. He has a lot of beard.

Because I am growing so much I get to try on some new awesome clothes. Don't I look fab in this?

I am also entered in this awesome contest. Vote for me so I can become a STAR and win money for college or something.

Control

I tried something new this week. Water dripping off of a glass. My parents would not let me try beer but they did say that when I am older I could try apple juice. I like playing with water. Bath times are my favorite. I like kicking my legs and splashing a little. Dad always gets water in my eyes and ears. What a doofus.  Dad, I am not aquawoman!

This week, I had a surprise visit from Grandma Vickie. We tried to crawl. She is a little better at it then me. I had a lot of fun with her. She watched me on Friday while my folks were away at work. Thanks for visiting. I know we will get to spend more time together in like two weeks. Hashbrown Girls Weekend!

Here are some fun images of me having a blasty blast this past week.

I am starting to get better at keeping my head up. Only for a little bit and then I cry.  I mean, it's pretty hard to do. I am unsure on how my parents dance like this.

This is my new favorite friend. His name is blanketbear. I love hugging this guy. He is my first Detroit Lion item that I have not spit up on. As you can see, we are pretty good buds. We hang out in my play place jungle and enjoy naps while on walks. The world is our oyster.

Mom and Dad say when I stick out my tongue that I am happy. I guess this is what it looks like when I am happy.

I don't wear hats often but I like this one. I mostly don't wear them because I am some awesome locks. I do like wearing my shades. They make it easier to sleep on sunny days.

I also wanted to wish my uncle Tacobody a happy birthday. I can't wait to hang out with you for a second or two this weekend.

Sunday was Dad's Day. We had a lot of fun. It was SO hot out. I had a hard time keeping my cool and staying cool (haha fun word joke.)

Mom and I got him some cool socks and I helped make him this tie.

Mom was scared that the paint would stick to my foot and she was going to be unable to wash it off before Dad got home. We were going to tell him that I learned to walk an accidentally stepped in bird droppings. Now that I know he likes ties I am going to get him one every year.

Love you, Dad.

Family

I met my third great-grandma this weekend. (Grandma Carol, Where you at?!) It was great. She was so great to spend time with. I traveled to Chicago to celebrate Emma's graduation and I met so MUCH family.

This is Timmy. He loved holding me and helped me get to sleep.

There was even a waiting line to hold me. I enjoyed meeting so many of my second cousins. I can't wait until I am ld enough to play with them. They seemed to be having a lot of fun.

This is Sophi. She held me for a little bit too.

This past Monday I got to sleep in. Not only sleep in but sleep in my parent's bed. I slept for three hours. It was great. I was so rested that Dad and I had a wonderful daddy-daughter day.

This is a new toy I started playing with. It's awesome. It makes a lot of fun instrument sounds and it plays music with lights!!! Thanks aunt Erin. Maybe you can stop by and we can start a band. We could call it the "Princess Pair" or "Molly and the Maybes" or MA/EL (Like AC/DC but with our initials.)

Mom reads me bedtime stories each night and then holds my hands and says the Lord's Prayer each night before I got to bed. Sunday night, we read about a girl named Molly who had a muffin shop. How cool is that. I hope I can have a muffin shop one day. Then, a book has already be written about me.

Sleep Sheep

I have had a week.

Do you ever have those weeks where you just want to sleep? That is what I want to do! I have been sleeping more during the day and still a lot at night in my big girl room.

This past week, I started with my new sitter. Her name is Jill and she smiles a lot. I like her. The Saleska boys were all there to keep me safe and introduce me to my new friends. We play outside a lot. I think it is going to be a fun summer once I am able to move.

I got to spend some one-on-one time with mom and dad on different days.

On Monday, I got to go to financial ministry with dad. We counted the money given as an offering from the church members. I was a good girl for two of the three hours. It was OK. There were a lot of nice ladies that loved picking me up and showing me what a ceiling fan was. This is me next to the coin counter. It made a lot of fun noises.

On Sunday, I got to hang with mom. We had a super chill day. We enjoyed a nice walk and I got to play with a few new toys that- apparently- have been in my room this whole time! This, right, is Ted E. TheBear. He is my new friend. I also like his little boots. He said I can wear them one day when they fit me. I have been snuggling with a Detroit Lions bear and blanket lately. I like chewing on it until I fall asleep.

This weekend we are traveling to Chicago to see cousin Vanessa, Matt, Emma and Timmy. It's Emma's graduation. I am so excited for you. Maybe this time when you hold me I won't cry immediately.

I hear I am going to be meeting a lot of people this weekend including my great-grandma Pat! Woah. I have heard so much about her. I can't wait.
