Sitters

I am starting with a new sitter this week. I have had some much fun with Karen and Cathy. They also are fun to see. I am going to miss spending time with them. Hopefully we will get to hang out soon. I loved hanging out with Bella, Lauren and Jake. They always took care of me and made me feel special. I tried to tell them but I just cried instead. It is the only noise I really know how to make right now!

This week I got to see Aunt Kelly again. I was excited to see her. I was a little cranky because it was near my bedtime.

I have been transitioning to my big-girl bed in my own room. I HATE IT!

1) I am not a big girl. I am a little girl. The littlest of girls.
2) It is way too scary in my own bedroom. For All I know, there could be monsters!
3) My parents are not with me. I need them.

Some nights I just need my mom and dad with me.

I went to my first parade today. I liked the clown that was there. I got scared when the stupid baseball team threw gum at me. I don't know how to catch?! This is my going out hat. #Adorbs I have been told I look like a totally different baby with a hat on.

A week of Happiness

I have had such a fun week. I like smiling and giggling. I love spending time with Cathy and the Downs family Every time I see Cathy I always smile (And mess my pants but that is not something I like to admit to.) I also have enjoyed more time with Karen on Fridays. She is so much fun. TGIFwK (Thank God it's Friday with Karen.)

This week I got a new toy from Willard from church. He is a great friend of my parents. My mom and I went to the farmers market and Mr. Peters' rummage sale. My mom bought me this xylophone. I am still learning how to play it.
I got to play with the Saleska boys last night.

They said they are going to teach how to wrestle. I CAN'T WAIT! My mom said I have to wait until I learn how to walk. Get real, Mom! Tara and I spent time outside. I really like spending time with her.

I am getting ready for another daddy-daughter day. Dad and I had so much fun last week. It was a day of naps and giggling. I needed to take a day off after riding in the horrible car seat for seven hours last Sunday.

Adventures in Cathy-sitting

I love spending time with my friend Cathy each week. She gave me a really awesome new style this week. I personally like the pig tails. I think they give me a more older and dignified look. We spend so much time together. I always smile when I see her. We spend a lot of time outside in the garden. I love spending time with the Downs family. They make me feel so special. #girlfriendsforlife

I got to travel to Michigan again this past week. I slept all the way there and all the way back. I only woke up maybe once because the smell of Indiana woke me. I met my great-grandmother Judy this weekend. She is super nice. I really like her.

I had my first night away from Mom and Dad this weekend- about time to cut the cord, guys. I was a little scared but I had a lot of great company. I spent time with uncle Ryan, aunt Kayleigh, aunt Erin, Alex and grandma. I also met my dad's uncle Keith and aunt Kim. Uncle Keith made me an awesome toy box. I CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY WITH IT!!!

They kept calling this guy S-Ski. It was awesome to meet him. I did not even cry when he held me. As a thank you, I spit up on him.

Like a princess do.

I turned 3-months-old this past week. My interests are smiling, having books read to me, naps and outdoors. My dislikes are messing my pants and crying.

I also went outside when it was snowing out-what the what. I got some in my hair. I was happy to be a part of my parent's anniversary picture. Thanks to grandpa John for taking our picture. We don't get many with just the three of us.

I love my folks.

Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day with the best mom in the whole wide world. Dad and I took her to church, lunch, Shalom Wildlife Zoo, rented a movie and made dinner. Mom and dad also had ice cream.

My mom always smiles with me. Even when I cry or poop all over things. She smiles and holds me and tells me everything is going to be alright.

I know we have been through a lot already. I know I do not make all nights easy but she is still always there with a smile. She is so polite to everyone. I really hope I can be like her one day when I grow up.
I like when she gives me hugs when I am scared.
I like when she knows I am hungry.
I like when she tells jokes and I giggle. Giggling is my favorite with mom.
Side note from mom: I feel pretty darn lucky I've got these two in my life too.

Dad always says that I have a tremendous role model in my mother. I think he is right because she is everything I have always wanted and is my best friend. I love you, mom. Happy Mother's Day.

Mimic

I have been learning to copy other people's facial expressions. My favorite is sticking out my tongue at people. It is kinda silly. I started to learn how to smile and I am trying to talk to everyone too. I like to make a lot of noises when Dad and I ride to my favorite babysitter's house. I sometimes will just sit and talk to myself if no one else is listening to me.

This is Dad and I dancing today. We are so silly sometimes. He is just lucky I did not get sick on him.

This is the photo mom and I sent Dad on Friday before he left us for a few days.

I had fun with mom this weekend. I am excited to treat her to an awesome first Mother's Day this weekend. Dad and I are cooking up something cool.

I met Kayla. She walked with me and my mom at the March of Dimes. I guess a lot of people wanted to hear all about me. It was a rainy day so I did not want to stay outside too long.

I met my new fun Friday babysitter this week, Karen. She is SO nice. I like hanging out with her a lot. I was a tad embarrassed that I was so gassy all day but hey " I lika the spicy meatball."

I look forward to an exciting week with the Downs family and Karen and maybe even-special guest like this week- Cameron. I have so many new friends.

 See you all next week.
