Halloween

I went to my first Halloween party this past Friday at Jill's house. Some of the kids and I dressed in costume. I dressed like Princess Leia. My parents friend, Chris and his mom, made me this sweet doo when I was born. It finally fit and I think I look super fab.

"Hurry Ted.E.Bear! You're our only hope."

On Saturday we carved pumpkins. I was mortified. I was so excited when we went to pick out pumpkins  last weekend. They are so cute and then.....

Why are you cutting them open! Ahh. What horror. Look at the smile on her face. No remorse.

I did not care for much and did not want to take part in this vile act. But then...

I came around to the whole idea.

Along with trick-or-treating for the first time I also went to China.
Instead of taking a bath I took in culture.  ← ← Dad says if you click that link you can see a behind the scenes video of our life...so exclusive!

Look at how many pandas we saw! Along with fish and other cool lanterns. I have never seen so many lights in my life.

This week I got to stay up late like a big girl and watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. YOLO right?

Hey-Ride

I went on my first hay ride this weekend as mom, dad, grandma Kris and I explored a farm that grew vegetables. I have eaten pumpkin-flavored foodsies before but I had no idea that they grew from the ground. The best part was I got to sit up against the hay on the tractor by myself.
We got a personal tour from the owner of the farm, John Lamm. He was so nice. He even gave me and mom these little pumpkins. Just my size.

Grandma picked out this one because it looked like a little duck.

I had fun with grandma this weekend. So much that I did not even nap on Saturday. I stayed up to hang with her. I got kinda cranky towards the end of the day but what are you going to do.

I wanted to take this pumpkin home. It was the largest one on the farm. Mom said it would not fit in dad's car.

I was not impressed with this inferior pumpkin after seeing that bigger one.

The craziest part of this whole farm was I became Molly the train conductor. They had these handles hanging in a room with so many trains. Mr. Lamm let me pull it once and it made the sound of a choo-choo train. When mom wasn't looking I pulled it again. YOLO

By the end of the trip I wanted to start taking photos I tried taking the camera from dad.

Hey pal! if you're going to take my photo so much I need to start getting a modeling fee. Send it to my agent, Bathtime B.

I FINNNNNALLY  got to try Daddy Cakes this weekend. Dad made us all pancakes and mom cut some up for me. I was so happy that I ate them too fast. Maybe next week I can convince them to give me some of that bacon. I'll eat that.

Another cool thing was I got to try PUFFS! this weekend. Cousin Noah has been raving about these and he says to me, " Moll, You've got to try these puffs. They're aces!" So I did. The best part is they stick to your hand so you can save some for later.
I can't wait for Halloween.

Hall-o-fun!

It started as a normal Friday. Mom picked me up from Jill's and we headed to dad's work. This was my first warning sign.
We pulled up to dad's work and then we saw him in the middle of the street. He did not get in the car. We then circled around and parked up top. Dad met us at the car and he did not have his camera or work badge. This was my second warning. I was then stripped from my car seat and mom and dad began their work. I had an orange baggie swung over my head. I started to fight but it was too late. As soon as I got my bearings, a small object was placed on my head and strapped under my chin. I was then stapled into my stroller. We approached a staircase. Dad then picked me and the stroller up and walked us down. Unable to see where we were and what was happening I was startled to see MONSTERS! I only know of monsters based on the ones on my father's cereal boxes. We strolled along Main Street seeing dinosaurs, buzz lightyears, princesses and even ghosts. We were lucky pac-man was there to take care of those ghosts. It was then we stopped by the side by the river for fish and chips. The night concluded with me in a pumpkin outfit and my pumpkin jammies.

I am still getting my costume ready for Halloween but I have to say this was an AWESOME night. If this is what trick or treating is I can't wait.

My friend Marilyn and Angie stopped by and gave me SO MANY clothes and this new fun saucer. I am able to STAND in it. It's so much fun. I now can dance with mom in the morning.

I am so happy to play in it. This is me sporting my awesome blue outfit for the game this past Sunday. I was super pumped that the Lions were on TV. So excited that I napped most of the game. I was able to wake to see ANOTHER LIONS VICTORY GOOOOOOOOO LIOOOONNNSSSSS roar!

Dad and I on a lazy Sunday.

I have a new joke to tell you.

What is green and purple and comes from the ground?

Roly Poly Goalie

I'm on the move. Once I started to rollover I figured out that the jungle gym is not the only area in the apartment I can get to. Dad was working and I tried to roll to the desk to let him know that the levels on his shadow adjustment were a little much.

So much so that I have created a fort underneath a table.

I had a snoozy but fun week with mom. She was so happy that I gave her snuggles on Sunday (Merry Christmas, Mom.)

On Saturday we played. I got to sit on her shoulders. She would dip me so I would be upside down. One of my favorite things to do is hang upside down. We went CHRISTMAS SHOPPING* this weekend. I was hung upside down in a room full of mirrors. There were so many little babies that looked like me.

I had the SCARIEST thing happen to me. Tis the season I suppose. While dad and I were looking at Christmas decorations and Mom was checking out, I fell asleep. I was suddenly woken up by a loud screeching sound. I squirmed and moved in dad's arms. I looked around and we were moving UP! There were dresses hanging on boxes. Items piled on top of items. It was like I was in a moving closet.

Turned out to be a freight elevator. The regular one was out of order.

Working on my Halloween costume, too much? You're right don't wanna scare the babies. 3-months-old are so uptight.

* No Photos. Sorry. I need to keep this as confidential as possible. I was shopping for cousins.

Fun with G-Ma

I had a special visit from Grandma Vickie this week. We had...wait for it......

a lot of fun.

We watched the Lions (lose) on Sunday. It was great to watch them (lose) with so many of my friends. We all dressed up to watch them (lose.)

I started decorating my room for Halloween. I have my costume already picked out and tried it on. I look AWESOME. Like a princess. This is the skeleton in my cool gold frame. I have a few fun pumpkin jammies and pumpkin hats. Grandma got me a new book about black cats. It's a good read if you have the time.

We decorated the rest of the apartment too. I am not sure why my parents started letting rats and bats into our home. PEST CONTROL, PLEASE! We have hanging candles near my room and a ton of spider web. Spooky right.

I started to roll all over the place. It is so much easier to get around this way rather than bother my parents to pick me up and place me. I have been playing with this SUPER big blue ball that mom used when she was pregnant with me.

This is my friend, Willard from church. We are on the same ushering team. I was glad I got a photo with him before he had to bug out for the morning. I help with the collection. Mom holds me and I smile. We make a good team.

I love singing songs with my dad on our way to Jill's each day. "I've got that sunshine in my mouth and that good soul in my feet."

This week, mom and I are mouses. Who cut the cheese?
