Chicago Style Molly

Whoa what a week.

Although I've been feeling a touch under the weather this week, I mustered up enough energy to head down to Chicago and pal around with cousins Vanessa, Emma, Matt, and Timmy.  They taught me how to PARTAY!

Checked into a hotel with Mom and Dad they weren't kidding about that skyline.

There were SO MANY FANS!!! How mesmerizing.  I think I might love this town. Sigh.

I was introduced to a full belly deli worth of culinary delights. May I present a Chicago classic: The Italian beef. Wait Italian? I thought you said we were in Chicago? Geography is tough.

I'm sure you're wondering...no, mom didn't let me have any off the beef.  Not for my lack of trying. I did get a small piece of the juicy bread and some sweet pepper so I think I've got the flavor profile figured out.

Mom and Dad went to Laurie and Brendan's wedding. I guess they wanted "adult time" so I didn't attend. Little did they know I had my own party!! Well, Emma had a birthday party but I was quite the social butterfly. Check out some of these party shots

Pizza? Cake? They know how to treat a (hungry) girl!! I was so pooped at the end of the night I PASSED OUT.

Have you guys ever heard of that new phone thingy clap talk? Wait, sorry I got my words mixed up snap chat? I don't know what this thing is...all I know is

It turned me into a puppy

Checkin' out my Town

I went to see Lake Michigan this past Monday with my mom and dad. The waves were so cool to see. It was very windy. It's a good thing when you have hair like me. It was like I was on a glamour photo shoot. Hashbrown Super Fab

I am getting better at standing on my own two feet. Mom still helps me a little bit but I like stamping around. Especially on the grass. It's so soft.

I am a Daddy's girl. What can I say. Right now, not much. I am a baby.

This week was HUGE for me. I am now able to roll from my tummy to my back. I am no longer stuck on my stomach as my face plants into the ground. YEAH!!

On Saturday, we went and checked out some super-cool buildings in Milwaukee. It was a lot of fun. I got to ride on dad's stomach for the day. It was such a bumpy ride.

We fit in a car that looked like a good size for me but not my dad.

Hands free
There was this super-cool fountain that had some really neat colors. I really liked watching it shoot water UP IN THE AIR. I wish bath time was like this fountain. It looked like treasure.

I am still not sure about these two.

Dad helps me out with my bottles so I thought it would be kind to help him out too.

I hulked out this week. I guess eating all those carrots is starting to show results. I was playing in the jungle (Yes, the jungle) and then I SHOOK THE EARTH!

Oh, bother

Forward Down the Field!

Dad and I watched our first Lions game together. THEY WON! I was so nervous I couldn't even watch. I had to take a bath to relax.
My cousin Ryan and I are 1-0 as a Lions fan.

To celebrate, I had carrots for the first time. I ate the entire bowl. No glasses for me! Here is what it looks like when I eat. I like to alternate between the spoon and my thumb, I'm pretty versatile that way. I am starting to really like this people food they are giving me.

That feeling when you get to wear jammies all day. HOLLA! (My Dad's friend Laurie taught me that)

We sent photos this week to Grandma Vickie to make her feel better after she went to the doctor's office. Here was one of mom and I.

The weather is starting to get a little colder outside so I am starting to wear some super-fab jackets. This is also neat because I can start wearing pants again and socks. I like wearing socks now that I can grab my feet.

I also play the keyboard. These are the only keys I play but I play a mean chopsticks.

This is what it would look like if I taught a hula class on a cruise ship.

I am 7-months-old today and I love how much hair I have.

Paying Respect

This weekend I was able to go to the Vietnam Moving Wall. There was a lot of colorful flags that I got really close to. Smelled like America.  I was able to see a lot of fun things from the Vietnam War era.

I got close to the propeller of a helicopter. I was told not to touch it but.....

I was able to because I was cute I guess.

The guys at the helicopter and mom gave us a great idea to take a photo with the helicopter.

Look at me! I am a helicopter pilot!

Mom and dad thought my hair was getting to long and need a quick cut

Just a little off the top please

I also learned how to drive on Saturday.

This weekend I was able to spend more time with my great-aunt Jane and great-uncle Ron. They were driving by and wanted to see us.

I was told I was about the sam size of this guy. I have not met him but he seems mean. I tried to make the same face as he did.

Mom was able to stroll me around and get a good look at the flags. I had a great time.

This weekend, I was a little under the weather. I think I have a small cold. My nose is running faster than Usain Bolt (Dad's joke; not mine.) Mom and dad took real good care of me on Sunday. They allowed me to nap a lot and gave me lots of food. I also was able to eat more bananas Sunday.  Dad also gave me a little tomato Sunday from his pizza. I kinda liked it but I wish I could have had the pizza.

Cowabunga?
