Fairest of the Fair

I went to my first fair. I had a great time. I can't wait until I go back next year and I may be able to eat something or ride the rides. I asked mom if they had deep fried milk? she said not this year. What a load of diapers! I was able to see pigs race. They were all named after quarterbacks in the NFC (What is that. Not for Children?) north. Matthew Stafford edged out Rodgers to win. Dad and I were the only ones to cheer.

Mom and I were able to see some of the show horses. They were HUGE. I loved seeing them trot by.

To be honest, I was more interested in my hands.....

and eating them.

Mom and I enjoying some of the crazy noises from the carnival games.

I had a great time with lots of smiling. Dad and I played a game called "Baby Hat" He just placed my on the top of his head. He pretended I was a hat and I pretended I was an airplane.

Wedding

This weekend I was able to attend a wedding reception for my dad's cousin Heather. It was so great to meet her this weekend. We both wore pretty dresses.

Me and the bride. How lucky.

I met my dad's aunt Keri. I was glad to spend some time.

Dad's uncle Keith seems to be checking out my do. I know fab right?

Great-grandma Judy and I.

I keep making one of my favorite noises "ma ma ma" and mom gets pretty excited.  I'm not sure why I don't even know what I'm saying!! Buh is a cool noise too.

I keep working on my skillz-- like rolling over. My arm always gets stuck underneath me, silly arm.  Perfection takes practice.

Izzy and I did not get off on the right foot. He would bark and I would cry. I would cry and he would bark.
I got to hang with cousin Noah this week. He told me he had a secret. He whispered in my ear," I love you." I can't wait to walk so we can play. He has so much fun at grandma and grandpa's house.
Hey cousin, want to share what's in that cup?

Baseball Hall of Famer

This weekend I accomplished one one my dreams as I was inducted into the MLB Baseball Hall of Fame. It's an extreme honor to be inducted. I was happy to have my parents on hand.  This is especially special since they both have been inducted as well.

Like I said, This has been my dream since I was only 2-months-old. It is great to see this dream of three months come true. Below are some photos of career highlights.

Here is Mom and I competing in the racing sausage event. We came from behind to finish in fourth.

Here is when Dad and I accidentally injured the entire Milwaukee Brewers after I hit a home run.

I turned 5-months-old this past week as well. What a week.

How's my hair look? Good? Mom thinks it looks good. We got to hang on Saturday. I tried rice cereal again this week. I started to like it. I was able to eat some of it. I guess that is what happens when you get old. You start liking mush food.

I also got to try playing in the pool for the first time at the YMCA. As you can see here, I take water safety very serious. I loved my bathing suit but this is the only time I get to wear it. I already grew out of it. That's OK. I heard it's bathing suit season soon anyways.

Roadside

I got to stop at one of my favorite places so far. Dad said he has never stopped at one until I was born. I guess he was just waiting for me or something. I love the roadside oasis stops on our way to Michigan. They have everything a girl could want. Bedazzled hats, fun crane games with stuffed animals, good smells and fun people. I can't wait until I am older so I can play in the little children area. They have some fun things I could climb.

Like I said, I went to Michigan this past weekend. I had such a great time hanging with my aunt Heather, Grandma Vickie and cousin Autumn. She is so cool. I know we are going to be the best of buds. All she wanted to do was hold me.

I also got to hang with great-grandma and great grandpa Limber. I met my mom's uncle Steve and saw Grandpa. We had a great time.

Here is great-grandma and I. Check it. I did not cry this time when I saw her. I suppose I am beginning to mature a tad with my old age. We held hands for fun.

I was suppose to wear this on my drive to Michigan but I drooled all over it. Can you blame a girl when you see a bottle of milk coming your way? Because I had to change I cried. I really wanted to look fly for my ride home.

Here is my turtle outfit. Dad dressed me for our daddy-daughter day. I turn 5-months-old today.

Summerfest

I went to my first concert. It was the Blue Oyster Cult. I crowd surfed (kinda) for the first time. It was great. I can see why people like doing this. Grandma Ehlke, Dad and I toured around Summerfest while mom worked on Saturday. I had fun at every stop except one.

We stopped to see a magician. I liked him. He seemed great until he started a riot. Everyone in the small circle watching this man began screaming. I was terrified. I started crying and we left. I don't think I am ready for street illusions.

I had fun with Grandma this week. Even when she pretended to fall backwards into Lake Michigan. We hung out a lot this weekend. It was great seeing her for a quick trip. Best part is I will see her in about two weeks. Yaaaaaa!!
Here are some other fun photos from my first trip to Summerfest.

A few photos with mom and grandma at Summerfest. We also took a family photo I was not happy about.

I decided I like to wear hoods this week. I mean, I know I have some awesome hair going on but on a windy day this outfit sure does the trick.
